Knowledge is the Key to Business Success

Running a business is hard. Research shows that while Hispanic businesses outpace the general population in small business startups, Georgia Hispanic businesses are significantly lacking in business growth (scaling).

Hispanic entrepreneurs need to understand the “ins and outs” of doing business in the U.S., how to manage all areas of the business required for efficient growth, learn how to identify and apply it (strategic plan), and become aware of how to access capital. In doing so, Hispanic entrepreneurs will increase their ability to make strategic decisions and plans, thereby improving and growing their business

The fundamental business needs for Hispanic businesses to scale are:

  • Culturally competent business training and education
  • Access to capital
  • Personal/professional network & mentorship

The Hispanic Business Center (HBC) is committed to supporting Hispanic business growth by providing educational and training opportunities for chamber members, their employees, and the community through the programs below.
